Ice hockey rules - The majority of ice hockey around the world is played under the umbrella of three organizations, Hockey Canada, USA Hockey, and the International Ice Hockey Federation, each with their own set of rules. Hockey Canada and USA Hockey rulebooks are used in most amateur hockey in North America, and the IIHF rulebook is used in both amateur and professional hockey in the rest of the world.

English Premier Ice Hockey League - The English Premier Ice Hockey League commonly abbreviated to EPIHL, is a senior Ice Hockey league in England, and is run and administered by the English Ice Hockey Association. The league currently consists of thirteen teams, and is generally considered to be the second tier league below the Elite Ice Hockey League although there is no promotion or relegation between the two.

Australian Ice Hockey League - The Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) is Australia's top-level ice hockey league. It is sanctioned and governed by Ice Hockey Australia (a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation).

British Elite Ice Hockey League - The British Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) is the United Kingdom's top professional ice hockey league. Ice Hockey is a minor sport in the United Kingdom and the EIHL, like its predecessors, faces a constant struggle to stay on the ice.
